The Robinson Family 1 is a beach cottage duplex unit that can accommodate up to 8 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Start making memories at Myrtle Beach by strolling down 1 block on a quiet street and sinking your weary feet into the warm sand. Feel the sunshine melt away the cares of life as you watch the kids splash in the ocean, having the time of their lives, or get lost in a good book and doze off to the sound of the waves rolling in and out. Feel like trying your hand with rod and reel? Cherry Grove fishing pier is only 2 blocks away, and when you’re ready to grill up the day’s catch, feel free to use the grill and picnic area. With numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby, there will never be a moment of boredom. Or you could just stick around and enjoy the sparkling community pool and basketball courts. If you need to refresh your closet, Robinson Family offers laundry facilities, as well. Your perfect day begins here!

We had a great time. It is a short walk to the beach. Weather was wonderful. The duplex rental is as describe. We brought our two large breed dpgs, so staying on the first floor was very convenient. I want to brag on and thank the maintenance oncall guy which was very nice and prompt, we had an issue with the air conditioner but he had someone over there to fix it with then 30 minutes. Great costumer service.

Unit was clean, first floor very convenient for putting out the dogs, and location was perfect. Cons:We hated the built in table and benches which were awkward and uncomfortable. I wished there would have been just one full length mirror. The built in beds were very difficult to make because of the proximity to the walls.We found the couches quite uncomfortable, and it was awkward not to have at least one chair that you could sit on.We had been told the washer and dryer would be free, but when we arrived there were coin operated machines (but only one each to share between everyone), and this was very inconvenient as we had no local bank, and obtaining sufficient coins for regular use was difficult. Despite these issues, we would recommend the property because the street was not a through street, the beach was close, and we love the area.

We had a great time and plan to use this retreat again. It was perfect size, beach and pool so convenietnt, and Cherry Grove is a great place to stay without all of the traffic of summer beach.

In 2023 we rescued a feral cat who blessed us with a litter of kittens. Me , being the softy that I am, kept one of the kittens. It is very hard to find a rental that allows cats. I was so sad that we weren’t going to be able to go to North Myrtle Beach for the winter when I came across Retreat North Myrtle Beach. We were able to get a the cottage for two months so we were really happy. When we arrived the cottage looked pretty much like it’s pictures online. Check in was simple with a code for the lock box. The cottage could have been cleaner. Floors were gritty and needed mopped. My biggest dislike was the stationary furniture. The beds don’t move and they are so close to the wall that you can’t get on the one side to make the beds, you have to crawl over the top. Otherwise we were happy to be there. We had great neighbors and made some lifelong friends.

This was our 2nd time staying here, we love it. It's a great location, it's quiet, and very clean. Very short walk to the beach and the pool is relaxing. The Retreat workers are so nice & professional, and provide an easy check in & out. The unit is spacious, clean & has everything you may need.

This was a great experience from booking to the end. It was easy to book, it was a great price, the unit we stayed in was awesome, and checking out was easy. My sister and I both said the same thing the moment we first entered this rental - "Its so cute!" It was the perfect little beach cottage. We were very comfortable there. I loved the Roku on the TV! The ground floor unit that we were in was handicap friendly and easily accessible. Poppy, the cat, enjoyed her stay also!

We had a great time in spite of hurricane that came thru. Staff was very accommodating with moving to another unit upstairs away from flooding.

There was a few things that were bothersome. there were ants all over the kitchen table. they were coming from the window somehow, and the air vent in one of the bedrooms didn’t work so it was pretty warm in there, Also we had to share the pool with the whole street that we didn’t know about, We thought it would be the people above us and beside us but people kept coming from the whole street to swim. We still had a great time though!

This was our 2nd year at this house. Pictures are exactly what is in the house. House was very clean and main. This house provided everything we needed. Pet friendly, which is important to us. Less than a block to beach, pool in back. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We tell our friends about this place. Will be using them again. We did not go out o eat, we did all our meals ourselves. The family loved the Sunset Kayaking tour.

This was our 2nd annual family vacation & we chose to book with Retreat Myrtle Beach. We also decided to stay in the same beach house, Robinson Family 1. It’s a great layout, peaceful & safe area, pet friendly (with affordable pet deposit) about a 5 minute walk to the Cherry Grove Pier, adjacent to Walmart & Dollar Tree, the beach is just a short walk over N. Myrtle Beach Blvd... I could go on & on. The staff at Retreat are warm, inviting, & very friendly. We go during non-peak time in the Fall. It’s a great time to go for my family, because it’s affordable, perfect weather 98% of the time, beaches not crowded, & great treasures to find on the beach. We also got the privilege to meet the owner this year.

This was the second time we have stayed at Retreat Myrtle Beach. We absolutely love it. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The space for this location was by far the best we have ever stayed. We have so much room to move around and we had a very large dog with us. We will be staying here next year!

This was the second time we have stayed at Retreat Myrtle Beach. We absolutely love it. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The space for this location was by far the best we have ever stayed. We have so much room to move around and we had a very large dog with us. We will be staying here next year!

We had such a great time and truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The place was super clean and we LOVED the pool. Very close to the beach. Our twin granddaughters had a blast. Would highly recommend this place!
Good as long as no one is in the upstairs unit.

Good location. Clean unit. Not enough sound buffer for upstairs unit. Could hear the guest in upstairs unit walking the whole time. Was very loud.

This was a wonderful 2 bdrm home. the pool and backyard make all the difference with the children and the pets. The beach was literally across the street. Pictures dont do it justice.
I've rented from Retreat Myrtle Beach for about 4 years now. The process to reserve & pay is easy. Jean at the office is amazing & is so helpful. The property is clean, updated & well taken care of.
