Robinson Cottage 3 is the upper unit of the lovely beach cottage that can be rented separately or together for larger groups. Unit 3 can very comfortably accommodate 12 people with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. This cozy unit is done in a classic cottage style and has a large living area, wonderful for gathering and laughing, or watching a movie together after that perfect day at Myrtle Beach. The Beach is simply a short stroll down a quiet road, and your toes are in that warm sand before you know it. Lounge on the beach while the kids splash the day away in the ocean. If you feel like trying your hand at some fishing, Cherry Grove fishing pier is only two blocks away. There is never a shortage of things to do, with numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. Or you could just stick around and enjoy the sparkling pool, basketball courts, and grilling the catch of the day at the grill and picnic area. Whatever your idea of the perfect day is, you’ll find it here.

Good rental! Excellent location! Our grandchildren loved the shared pool.
Kitchen could have used a few basic items but we purchased and left them for the next renter. Pot holders, measuring spoons and cups.

This place was in the perfect location! We liked that it was at the end of the street and not on a busy highway. A short walk to the beach and great food/ice cream nearby. Basil’s Pizza is a must! We ordered food multiple times during our stay!
My only complaint is the cookware. If you plan to cook meals here, bring a pan. We tend to make breakfast at the place before we leave for the day. I plan to bring my own frying pan next year.
We will stay in this location again! Absolutely loved it!

This is not a family friendly property.
The downstairs units were rented to a large group of partyers. We had to ask them to be quiet at 12:30am one night. We had to call the police at 1:30am another night. They were constantly hanging around the grill and picnic table every day. We ended up leaving a day early.

When we first drove up this house looked like a beach cottage. It has a nice deck on the front and a grassy area to the right with a grill and picnic table A sidewalk to the left leads to a shared pool.. When you go in there is an open living room/dining room area. Bead board walls and ceramic tile floors gives the beach cottage vibe. Everything looked and smelled clean. but maintenance was still there hanging blinds. The kitchen looked updated Bedrooms were small with too much furniture for the size of the room. All but one bed is right up against the wall making it hard for two people to sleep in them, not to mention making them up.. Someone has to crawl over the foot of the bed. The ad says sleeps 12 but it would be hard. Also nothing else will work for 12. They couldn't all sit and watch tvr or sit and eat together. There aren't enough utensils for 12 people either. Electrical outlets are another problem. There are none in bathrooms and very few that are usable in the bedrooms. We had trouble with plugs falling out of the sockets The AC doesn't cool very well in the master bedroom. The layout for both bathrooms is not good. You have to be very carefull sitting down at the toilet so you don't hit your head on the sink. The worst problem of all was the bugs. Spray was under the sink and we definitely had to use it a lot. Another problem is having to pay to do the laundry. Very few places want to give you change so that makes it hard to come up with quarters. Some directions on how to use the tv remotes as well as a list of channels would be great. The house is in a nice, quiet location, but needs work. Even with all the issues we had a blast and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I have stayed at this house a few times and it’s always been great. Awesome pool and a one minute walk to the beach. The only bad things I would have to stay are minor. They could use some more silverware as the house sleeps 12 and there was only about five forks and spoons. Also the central air ducts were extremely dirty so much that the ceiling was black. Beds are very hard but that’s to be expected.

We loved our stay in the area, the living and dining area were huge and the bedrooms were all nice. The bedrooms were a bit on the warm side as there were no fans in the bedrooms. The A/C did keep the place cool though while we were there. The pool and the maintenance people that took care of the pool were wonderful. I would say the only complaint would have to have been that on the website we booked it on it showed at the top of the page it was a private pool that we figured would have to share with the room below us and possibly the cottage beside us, it ended up that we had to share with another cottage across the street. It would be nice to see in the main description that this is technically not a private pool but a shared pool.

I had an amazing time. The rental was spacious and had all the basic kitchen items needed. Didn't feel like the family was on top of each other plenty of room, seconds from the beach and access to a pool was fantastic. We plan to come back every year. There was a couple of giant roaches outside but that is totally out of their control. I expected that being so close to the beach. I called and asked for bug spray and an iron and it was there that evening.

This is a wonderful vacation destination. Within walking distance from restaurants, grocery store, ice cream shop, gift shops and the infamous Cherry Grover Pier. The apartment was super clean and the staff at Retreat Myrtle Beach was always more than helpful. Our vacation experience with this rental company was awesome!!!
