Wish we could live here forever! This is a great condo with amazing views, right on the beach in a safe area and close to everything. Jeanne at Retreat is like family to us. Always helpful, professional and responsive. Condo was clean and well equipped. And nicely decorated!

Great condo had everything we could ask for. Great neighbors from all over. 3 balconies so we did some people watching which is always interesting. Retreat MB makes it so easy thats why we’re stayed with them somewhere between 19 or 20 years.

We really enjoyed our week ,celebrating our 30th anniversary. The view of the ocean from the bedroom and balcony were spectacular! The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and we were delighted that we could bring our two small aging dogs with us. They loved it too! We would definitely book this unit again in the future.

I love visiting the beach but I want to take my 2 little dogs with me. It wouldn’t be fun without them! With this location, we have a beautiful condo with tile flooring, oceanfront views with a balcony and staying on a less crowded part of the beach. I enjoy getting to know the other guests as well.

I have rented this unit several times for my family vacation. We are never disappointed! The location to the beach and condition of the unit are the reason that we keep going back.
The management team is very helpful and accommodating. The AC in the condo stopped working while we were there. The management team was contacted and the problem was fixed that day. Great customer service!
I Love it that we can bring our furbabies on vacation with us.
We are booked and already looking forward to our next stay.

Our family had a great stay at this beautiful, spacious property. It's a clean, modern condo with three bedrooms and two full baths. We had a toddler with us and she stayed in one of the rooms with a pack and play. All the other tenants were friendly and there was no noticeable noise from other rooms, so great sound dampening. There's a deck on the front side and the back deck overlooks the ocean. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which is conveniently located out back. It was also very convenient to have the washer and dryer. For the most part, it was fairly toddler proof minus the ground level kitchen cabinets/drawers and trash can. The beach is right out past the sand dunes and wasn't ever too busy throughout our stay (early May).

Two tips: If you bring a toddler that needs total darkness, you'll want to bring along something to drape over the curtain rods to block the light. The floors are tile and I'd highly recommend bringing along a Swiffer mop or equivalent to keep the floors tidy as you slowly and inevitably track in dirt or sand from your beach adventures.

Lost power for 30 hours. Lost food, had to eat out 3 times, slept miserably one night without AC. Management attention to repair process was poor. Was given a token refund less than half one night's stay. They have lost a long term repeat customer.

The unit was acceptable. It was relatively clean and in a good location. The master bedroom definitely needs a new mattress on the bed and an updated shower in the master bath. The rental agency was non-responsive to after hours calls. We had an issue with the air conditioning and they never returned my call. So in the future I will deal with a different rental agency.

Love the view!! Very short walk to the beach.

This oceanfront, pet-friendly condo #104 was very clean, well-maintained and spacious. Access to the pool and beach are conveniently located steps away from the main entrance. The property manager was very professional, organized and helpful.

We love that the building is small so the beach isn't too crowded! My only issue is with this unit is that the bathroom needs upgraded!!!! The phone booth shower is a real bummer!

Always enjoy our stay at Crescent Dunes! Unit 104 is nice, however, the kitchen isn't well equipped in this unit. This was our first year to rent linens and it was great not to have to bring! The only complaint here is hand towels are not included with bath linens.

It was wonderful despite covid 19. We really enjoyed crescent dunes! We have always stayed at sea house but now when possible we will stay at crescent dunes! We made it home and no one got sick!

Our stay was very nice. The other guests we met were sweet. The condo was very comfortable and clean. Only small issue was not being able to block out the lights from the hotel next door at night to sleep.

Lovely, very spacious pet friendly location. Jeanne from Retreat was very helpful. Only down side was that all floors were ceramic tiles and even wearing footwear at all times, floor was chilly. Great location, quiet and safe area.

This was our 3rd stay in 104. The view from condo to the beach and ocean is spectacular. The walk from your door to the beach is just a few minutes which makes your beach time so more enjoyable. The condo was clean upon arrival and there was no smell of past pets which is good being they are pet friendly.

The condo contains everything you need to make your stay easy so when you arrive you can unpack get some groceries and hit the beach. The carts supplied at the elevator makes it so easy to unload the car and get your belongings to your condo. There is plenty of space so everyone has some privacy when required. The airport isn't to far away(25min) so if you have a visitor fly in for a short visit not a big issue.

A couple of items that should be addressed is that in the hallway bathroom we found the towel hanger sitting on the counter when we arrived and some of the others loose on the wall. The coffee pot was missing from the coffee maker and could not be found. The master bedroom shower door is leaning so when you exit you have to force the door to open. I would suggest that curtains are replaced and new ones do not reach the floor as we all know pets like low curtains. Since 104 is on the south side and there is a higher building next door the bright lights on the building can disrupt the night sky. These are minor details that still didn't spoil our visit.

Jeanne at Myrtle Beach retreat is a real pleasure to deal with.

This is the 7th or 8th time I've stayed in Crescent Dunes, my first in condo 104. Overall we enjoyed it, decor could be better and some kitchen items were missing, the towel bar in hallway bathroom had been left damaged and lose, we tried to be helpful and fix it but the wall was too damaged and we didn't have a small enough screwdriver to tighten the small screw. Besides those small items we were very happy! Location is great, overall facility in nice condition and we love the balconies! I do wish people were more attentive to where they allow their pups to relieve themselves. We had some issues right outside the elevator and parking lot.

The condo was very spacious. Needs blackout curtains in all rooms! Very pet unfriendly when taking our fur babies out to do their business. Had to take then across the street to find a grassy area. Very inconvenient!

We have stayed at Crescent Dunes twice now, once in 103 and once in 104. Both apartments are lovely and as our younger son loves the pool, we love that these units' balconies are right over, where our dog can sit outside and still be near us <3. Jeanne in the office is also extremely patient and great to work with.

There were just a few things that I observed...

- The washer and dryer in this unit were fantastic - very speedy and effective cycles.

- I love that the toilet in the primary bathroom has it's on door - so people can use the sinks even when the toilet is occupied. Same situation in the master bath and both have two sinks.

- All bedrooms have great windows and awesome daylight exposure.

- Well-appointed kitchen, we didn't need to buy anything in relation to pots/pans/tools and we cooked a lot.

- Very few clothes hangers, so if you have a lot of clothes to hang bring from home or expect to purchase. We bought 15 and left half there, so that'll help if no one takes them.

- The curtains in the unit are made of burlap, so if you need total darkness to sleep, bring a mask as the hotel next door has crazy bright security lights that shine right into this unit. They are on from sundown to around 5:30AM (I know this because my husband is one of those total darkness sleepers and he was awake most nights. I slept very well.)
I prefer the "first-floor" (they not ground level) units because of the stairs (you are not reliant on the elevator) and as stated above, the proximity to the pool, but if you are looking for romantic views of the ocean and moon during your stay, you are going to want to pick a lower unit in the 1 or 2 line or higher up on the 3 line as the pool lights and the lights from the hotel next door are pretty pervasive.

This condo was the first one that we have rented at the beach that I haven't had to clean upon arrival. The unit was in very good condition. We loved the location to the beach. It was so easy to get on and off of the beach. It is so spacious and the layout is great. Can't wait to stay again!!

We rented the unit for two weeks, beginning March 3rd. We had a very enjoyable time, except for the weather. We ended up leaving two days early due to the coldness. The unit is very nice and we are coming back in June, with our Son and his family, before our Grandson begins his Military training and schooling at West Point. Really looking forward to it.

This rental is great for Grandparents, married children and their children. We had such a great time out on the deck, overlooking the Ocean. We spent a lot of time outside, enjoying our view. Our dog also loved being outside.
