Seaside Cottage is a cozy North Myrtle Beach duplex located one block from the stunning Atlantic Ocean. With beautiful oak trees and breathtaking views from the sun deck, you will be able to truly soak in all that the Grand Strand is famous for. Seaside Cottage #1 is the lower unit, and has recently remodeled kitchen, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home comfortably sleeps up to 12 people. You can spend the day on the beach playing in the sand, watching the seagulls, and listening to the waves, and then come home to your fenced backyard with a pool, picnic tables, hammocks and a grill. Come to North Myrtle Beach and let Seaside Cottage be your home away from home. POOL AT THIS HOME IS OPEN FROM MID-MAY--SEPT. This rental unit has Roku/Internet TV -- bring your passwords. There are five televisions.

What an amazing trip! Despite us driving 10 hours and experiencing unfortunate weather, and a tropical storm, we made the best of it. The house was super adorable, super close to the beach, great service, extremely clean. I have zero complaints and can’t wait to return! 10/10 recommend! The kids didn’t want to leave.

Nice duplex if you rent the upstairs and downstairs as we did with other family! We had the whole pool yard to ourselves. It was clean and supplied all our needs. Would recommend a bigger grill area in fenced patio pool area.

Called property manager several times. The people renting above had 5 dogs that were urinating on the upper porch and my family members got urinated on 5 times while trying to enjoy the porch . The upstairs renters also broke into two fist fights . We left a day early after my son was threatened by the male renter upstairs. I left 3 voice mails with no response from manager. As well as the pool indicated it would be open and was not .

The beach home was very clean and nicely decorated. It is definitely better for a week then 3 months because the chairs were not comfortable when we had company. I would recommend this unit if you want to be close to beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was very clean, they allowed dogs (with a fee), and the Wi-Fi/TV’s worked well. Don’t forget to bring your trash bags, extra toilet paper, and any type of soap or paper towels (on top of your towels and linens). Just a few things I we noticed were in disrepair that were somewhat disappointing. First, one of the sinks was broken and we thought it was clogged until we pulled the plug out of the middle and realized it was just broken. Second, the front door drags, so if there is any rain or moisture it seems to pull it into the house which is making the flooring curl (and the seal on the door is not tight). And then when we used the washer and dryer we couldn’t get the dryer to dry anything for more than 10-20 minutes at a time (not to mention how loud). If you have rude upstairs neighbors like we did, you won’t be getting any sleep because the floors are quite thin and everything sounds like stomping. But it’s a great deal because you do get a great spot with a pool (although it was closed for the season) right across from the beach and hidden from the hustle and bustle.

I think this is our 5th stay here. It’s a terrific location in a nice neighborhood
Close to the beach & great yard for our dog. The house has improved over the years, it has great beds ( very important on a 2 week stay!) this past yea r there was a large increase in rent, & it appears it’s increasing again! I hope we’re able to rent in 2023

This was our second year in a row in this house
It has always been get. As always enough room for our big group. This year was just a relaxing year and enjoyed the 2 minute walk to the beach and the pool. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Close drive to everything. Will come back next time.

The rental stay was very good. It’s a great location & the property allows large dogs. They had made some welcomed improvements since our last stay. Couple of easy fixes -the house needs a good can opener, a strip under front door could help keep bugs from getting in, & the pool should be cleaned daily because of the close trees. One huge negative for guests over 60 - the TV set up

The house was great. It accommodated our large group. Just remember the washer and dryer are apartment size so don't put too many towles in at once to dry. Upstairs had a wedding party and we all had fun. Beds was super comfortable. We were close to everything. Every house has something that be fixed and the only thing I can think of is insulation between floor but that is due to hardwood floor for easy cleaning. We loved it. We are checking dates for next year.

We had a great experience with Retreat Myrtle Beach. Check in and check out was quick and simple. The staff was super friendly. The house was clean and had a great layout for a large family. The pool and fenced in backyard were fantastic to have with the kids and dogs. Super quick easy walk to the beach. Will absolutely rent from them again!!

First, this rental company can’t be beat. The only thing smoother than reserving the property was check in/check out. Easy, quick, & pleasant. We were even able to check in early on Saturday which was much appreciated as we have a baby.
The property was utilitarian. There were no frills. I may also be spoiled from staying at AirBnBs. The beds were all a good size. You could sleep a lot of people in here. The floors were dirty on arrival but not the end of the world. The house is within walking distance of a bar, ice cream, and a restaurant. It’s across the street from the beach. The shining star was the pool in the back. It was shaded so sunscreen was not necessary. It was not huge but there was no one renting the top unit when we were there so we had it all to itself. The trade off for the shade was some flies and bugs but an easy fix with a trip to the store & worth it for the shade.
All together a good stay.

The property location was excellent and the house was accurately shown on the rental website. The rental company was professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. It was a great week and a good time in Myrtle Beach! After our stay our security deposit was returned within the promised time and we were very happy with the trip from the start of planning to our stay.

After having come through 2 hurricanes only 2 weeks apart, our long weekend at NMB was much anticipated for relaxation and family time. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The home was very, very clean, the weather was perfect, the location served us well and the pool was still full of water!! What a great time we had...swimming in the pool and riding around the area in rented golf carts. I wouldn't change a thing about the rental unit - nothing! We already looked at Retreat's inventory for next year's Spring Break but nothing is available. Thanks to Jeanne for her reliable assistance and to the staff for doing such a great job in maintaining this unit. We will be back!

The house was in nice condition when we showed up initially. However, the people paid to clean the pool/house do not clean, but instead force you to clean and bribe them not to fine you for the mess. We had a pool man show up numerous time and threaten to evict us if we did not give him alcohol. Other than the poor maintenance, the house is nice.
