Head to North Myrtle Beach and stay at one of our most popular properties, the Sandtrap. Located only one block from the beach, this property is divided into 10 different cottages. You can rent one unit, or for larger groups such as church group retreats or golf getaway, you can reserve all ten. Sandtrap #5 is a one bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps up to four people and is situated right next to the swimming pool, and only 100 yards from the beach. With hardwood floors, ceramic tile, two televisions and free wireless, you will find all the comforts of home. Spend the day relaxing on the sand and then come home and take a dip in the swimming pool or play a game on the basketball or volleyball court. Close to Grand Strand has to offer, including family activities, delicious restaurants, and fun night spots, the Sandtrap is an excellent place to stay to have a truly memorable North Myrtle Beach vacation. This unit tends to fill up quickly, so make your reservation early.

We had a really fun stay here. The layout is like a tiny house where you have a combined kitchen/dining table/living room and a separate bedroom. It's perfect for a couple or a family with small kids. The pool was just outside the unit as well as the parking space which was convenient. We loved the location half a block from the beach and also a short walk to rides, arcades, shopping, and dining on main street. The unit was super clean and quiet. Retreat Myrtle Beach is always a joy to work with and I'll continue to rent from them.

The cottage that we rented for 7 days was what we needed to have our med to large dog with us on vacation. It was within walking distance of the beach, it was close to the shopping stores we needed, and there was parking spot for your specific cottage. It had swimming pool on the premisis, a big area where we could take the dog out and play. We just needed a place to vacation with our dog and it provided that. Would definately recommend this cottage for vacationing with your larger dog. Every other place only allows small dogs, which doesn't give you many areas to stay.

We stayed there at the very end of September into the beginning of October. There were Palmetto roaches in the rental unit. Someone put a new microwave into our unit without contacting us while our baby puppy was in the unit. We had a bus block us in and they said they were informed to park where they were so we let things go to try to enjoy our vacation. We contacted management and sent screenshots to which it felt like they were excusing everything that happened and blamed us for the bus issue when we were on site before the bus ever came. We even asked for a partial refund or a full refund to which we got declined both. It would have been nice to be compensated for the issues that we experienced. I left reviews with a few other sites. I used to be a returning customer but after these last issues once we received our deposit back we will no longer be visiting them again.

The little cottage was cute as could be and right next to the pool. Very short walk to the beach.
The place is just right for TWO, so my advice is ditch the two worn out double beds for one nice queen or king,and update the couch, which was so broken down that I used my beach chair inside because it was more comfortable.

It's small, but worked for what we needed as we were only there for the weekend. I'm glad they allowed dogs, as the actual dead bolt is only functional from the inside of the unit, this did not make me feel very safe with leaving my belongings inside, only being able to lock the handle door lock. I don't think many people would try to get in with a 70# German Shepherd inside! The unit itself was fairly clean. The front door could have used a good scrubbing, it just looked dingy, it didn't bother me, but thought someone would like to know so they can possibly take care of this. Beds were comfy enough for a long weekend. We didn't use much of the kitchen as we ate out mostly, but everything seemed to be in nice shape. Bathroom is small.. like zero counterspace, it only has a pedestal sink so trying to put on makeup or shaving .. not any room to set things down. a little shelf would be most helpful. Other than that it's literally a block away from the beach, lots of great local places to eat and enjoy. We went in November so it was not crowded any where we went.

I had originally booked Sunday through Thursday but the person who booked it only had me there till Wednesday so that was disappointing then I wanted to stay an extra night in that house I was told it was taken so they moved me over to a more expensive three bedroom and nobody ended up coming to the one bedroom that I originally wanted so I spent more money that I shouldn't have had to also whoever answered on the maintenance line when I arrived there Sunday because I had a question he was extremely extremely rude and disrespectful and then they had some guy in and out or place to do work with the pool so they had to get into the electrical box all day and evening which was very inconvenient to say the least! And he also made a perverted comment about oysters and sex with his uncomfortable!!

Place was very clean and the location was great. The check in process was painless. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. My only problem was that the bed was too short for me but otherwise comfortable.

It's actually just like the pictures! When I was looking at rentals I was so scared to be scammed or to be forced to stay in a gross place for 4 nights. I found the right place!! Jeanne that works there was sooooo nice with an excellent response time. I had a great experience with the rental company and my stay. Literally across the street from the beach. Very safe and cute part of town. Just what I needed to crash for Thanksgiving week. It was perfect for me and my dog, I wouldn't recommend more than 3 adults. It was very clean so I made sure to clean but before I left. I would love to stay here again.

This was our third year with this rental. We just love it. So glad I found it. It is just right for our family of 4. Never had any issues. Property was always clean and maintained perfect. The closeness to the beach and to everything. We just love it. Recommended to my friends,although they never took an interest.their loss. Look forward to every year.

My son and his friends stayed at the Sandtrap 5 for their senior beach trip. They had a blast. The house was perfect for the four of them. Thanks for having a safe, clean place for our kids. My daughter will be there next summer no doubt!

I rented this pet friendly cottage for privacy and quiet...and I certainly got that! It was a little too secluded for me... I just moved from my Coop Apartment of 23 years where I was accustomed to noise and people around me. It is a cute cottage, footsteps to the beach, parking right outside, close to stores, church, post office, cleaners... I stayed for 5 weeks while my new condo apartment was being renovated...which I thank Retreat Myrtle Beach for recommending the workers...they were so kind, talented, reasonably priced and efficient. Overall a nice stay and my 2 cats were very happy too...a nice window view of the pool which they liked... thank you Retreat Myrtle Beach and especially Jeanne for her constant encouragement and help...

This was our 9th stay at this wonderful place. We enjoyed every minute. From the cleaniness of the property to the closeness to the beach and other establishments, we just LOVE it and look forward to returning every year.
