Spend a day frolicking on the beach or partaking in all that the Grand Strand has to offer - including restaurants, shops, and more - and then come home to rest. With four televisions and wireless internet, you can be as plugged in as you wish. Watch TV, surf the web, or turn off everything and just read a book or play a game. Whatever your vacation style may be, this beautiful beach house will provide the perfect home base for your North Myrtle Beach getaway. This rental has Roku/Internet TV service -- bring your passwords.

From my first contact, everything went smooth! Great communication. House was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Pool was clean. Bathrooms spotless! Plenty of hooks for towels and suits. Can't say enough good things about it plus being a rancher, no stairs to climb. So convenient. Loved it!

Had a good time kids really enjoyed the pool. The house was just as it looks in pictures only thing I think the queen bed could use a new mattress. But would definitely recommend it close to beach and not to far walk up town.

Loved the pool and close location to the beach. The only complaint is that the bathroom door stuck really badly. Especially annoying in the middle of the night because it was loud.

We had 6 adults and 5 children and enjoyed our stay so much. There was plenty of room and the pool was amazing. The location was perfect and just across the street from the beach. The house was cozy, cute beach themed decor and clean. I have only one suggestion to make the house perfect: a ceiling far on the porch next to the pool. A couple of the days were really hot and still. The shade was nice but a fan would be perfect.

We really enjoyed this little house just minutes from the beach. The kids had there how private pool they took full adavantage of. There was plenty of space and decorated super cute. Only down fall was the knives were not very sharp. Had a really hard time cutting up a tomato. Other then that overall a great stay!!

We loved it ! Plenty of room and very close to the beach, we walked there in less than 5 minutes. Great pool area. I would suggest heating the pool. We could not utilize it but we were there at the end of the season. We would have paid extra ! Definitely a great place .

Home was very spacious, the property could use a little TLC, exhaust fan was inoperable in the front bathroom, rear door lock was difficult to operate and the sand driveway makes daily sweeping a must to keep up with rental contract cleaning obligations.

This gem of a property is centered in the perfect location - walking distance to the beach, playground and to restaurants. I wish I lived there’ for real, it felt surreal being so close to nature. The pool was cold, I wish they had a pool heater but my kids did not mind. They were in the pool everyday even with the cold water. Also if you plan on working by the pool, make sure you bring your wifi extender to extend the signal. I love this little gem and it’s location.

Charthouse was a perfect pick for our quite, relaxing getaway for the holidays!! The house was clean well stocked and really cute. The pool was an added bonus. This was our first time to Myrtle Beach in December so we weren’t sure what to expect. Location to the beach was a quick 3 minute walk with our pups. We enjoyed morning walks watching the sun come up and actually lounged by the pool in the afternoons. Jeanne was fantastic to work with... We definitely will be booking a beach getaway with our pups in the near future!!

The house was just right for our needs. The trip was a disappointment because the tv's in the house had been changed to the smart tv's that require a membership with a carrier to see live programming. The only thing we could get were 3 stations with national news. We were told the cable or satellite system was too much but we rented under the impression we would have live tv programming.

Great house! We had a wonderful time! Only a short walk to beach. Plenty of room for all of us. Most of the house has been updated but kitchen needs some work... overall nice.

This is one of the best we have stayed at with RMB. All of their rentals are good but some have certain features you may be looking for over others. This one had it all for us. 5 blocks from the main street in OD, 1.5 blocks to the ocean, and a private pool! LOVE this place and we will definitely be booking this house again. Plenty of space for us and our pups. We own a rural property and have no neighbors so privacy is a key feature to us. our pups don't handle a lot of activity well so this place was perfect!

We have stayed at the Charthouse several times over the years. We always enjoy it and find the location great. It is a short walk to the beach and to several restaurants and shops on Main Street.
We really enjoy having our own pool to lounge around when not at the beach.
The cottage is always clean and furnished well for a beach vacation.
If you do incounter a problem which have been few the staff at Retreat Myrtle Beach have always been quick to respond and leaked care of the problem..
I would definitely record this property to a friend.

As always great!! House was clean upon arrival, only wish it could be made available earlier; traveling all night to hit the VA & NC traffic is murder, so we have to leave later with traveling with dogs that we can't get into NMB any earlier than 3pm :(
Maintenance staff and the entire staff is welcoming and very efficient!!
Neighbor to right of property in back is sort of okay, he lets his dog loose to go to the bathroom and doesn't pick it up. carrying beach paraphernalia is hard walking on the red stones and the spacing of the blocks and with the utility cable at the end, you're forced to step into his driveway with Dog poop all it, and picking his poop up n the side of our property.
One other suggestion is to put a shower spigot outside the fence area because washing the sand off inside the back yard sometimes creates the sand getting into the pool.

THIS was our 4th year renting from retreat and every year it has been great.This was our second year staying at the charthouse and we are already planning next year there. Convienent to the beach , great location, close to main street. very happy with the charthouse. Jeanne and the retreat myrtle beach team are great to deal with.We will see you in july 2025. thanks
